Andrea Loayza (SEAS’08)
President – Penn
Andrea graduated in 2008 with a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a minor in Economics. At Penn, Andrea was involved in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Alpha Phi Omega Community Service Fraternity and Cipactli Honor Society. She joined the Board upon her return to Toronto in the Fall of 2008 and previously served as Secretary before assuming her current position in April 2010. Over the past two years, she has worked on Club initiatives such as the Quarterly Newsletter and the launching of the Undergrad Mentoring Program in the Fall of 2009.
Andrea is currently working at Bank of Montreal in an internal strategy group. previously worked in the Corporate Development Department at CIBC and Deloitte's Corporate Strategy Consulting practice.

Steve Hucal (WG’ 79)
President – Wharton
Steve holds an MBA from Wharton. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Honors from Syracuse University and is also a CPA and Inventor (3 Patents).
Prior to assuming the Co-President - Wharton role in the Fall of 2009, he served as Treasurer of the Penn-Wharton Toronto Club.
Steve is the currently Chairman, President and CEO of Paymentflex Technologies, LLC. Past roles include founding Chairman, President and CEO at Genesis Analytics, founding President and CEO of TD MarketSite at TD Bank Financial Group, Executive Vice President at Hudson's Bay Company (including Chairman of Nor-Don Collection Network Inc. and President of Heritage General Insurance Company), Senior Vice President and Director of Credit Card Services at KeyCorp and Head of Credit Policy at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in the United States.

| Robert Mellema (WG’08)
Treasurer
Rob is the Treasurer of the Penn Wharton Alumni Club of Toronto. Rob completed his MBA at Wharton in 2008 where he was a Co-Prime Minister of the Canada Club, and joined CPP Investment Board soon after graduating. Prior to business school, Rob worked at UBS in investment banking for 4 years in London and Toronto on the Hotels, Gaming & Leisure sector team and on Canadian M&A. Rob also worked at the Boston Consulting Group in Toronto, and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. Rob lives in downtown Toronto with his wife Lisa and is an avid golfer and distance runner.

Richard Hoffman (WG'87)
Secretary
Richard joined the board on 2011. Richard has more than 25 years of extensive technical and strategic experience in commercial law transactions across a wide spectrum of industries, particularly involving privately-held businesses.
Richard obtained his MBA from at Wharton in 1987. He also holds a JD from the University of Western Ontario.

Dawn Van Dam (WG' 82)
Events Director
Dawn is our club's Events Director, and has been serving the Penn-Wharton Club Alumni Club of Toronto since 2011. Dawn received her BS from the Wharton School of Business in 1982. Dawn is the President and CEO of One Million Solutions in Health and Health Care Insights and Solutions.

Daniel is the Membership Director of the Penn side of the club.
Daniel is a consultant with expertise in the areas of telecom, supply chain, business strategy & pre-sales, systems development/implementation with experience working at consulting firms, consumer products, research & development and various startup ventures.

Paras Bhargava (WG' 91)
Membership Director - Wharton
Paras in the Membership Director of the Wharton side of the club.
Currently Paras consults to institutional investors and manages family investments. Paras worked for 10 years as an equity analyst in Canada for BMO Capital Markets and Yorkton Securities, he was top ranked for much of that period. Paras has also founded a technology start-up and held senior management positions at Nortel. He speaks French, English, Spanish and Hindi. In addition to earning an MBA at Wharton Paras holds an engineering degree from the U of Toronto.

Ted Nash (WG' 91, C'91)
Development Director
Ted joined the board in 2009. He has worked at the CIBC group since 1994 in a variety of capacities, including leading its M&A advisory practice and, currently, running Corporate Development and Merchant Banking. He has worked in Toronto, London, Boston, Caracas, and Brussels as either a banker or management consultant. Before Penn, he graduated from Queen’s University with a B. Comm. in 1985 and qualified as a CMA in 1988.

James joined the board on 2011. James has worked at Cisco Systems in a number of capacities. He currently works on General Management for the ETG and was previously the Managing Director of TelePresence Business Development.
James obtained his MBA, specializing in Finance, Product Management, Strategy, and Operations.

Malik Bachouchi (WU’80, SEAS’80, GENG’82)
Website Director
Malik graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program with majors in Mechanical Engineering and Business Multinational Enterprises. Subsequently, Malik acquired Masters in Computer and Information Sciences and Systems Engineering. At the Penn-Wharton Alumni Club of Toronto, Malik is responsible for our website development and currently worked on the re-launching of our website in early 2010.

Jody Samuels-Silver (WU’79)
President Emeritus – Penn
Jody graduated from Wharton with a major in finance. She founded PACT, Penn Alumni Club of Toronto back in 1989 and has served as President on and off for many years. Jody’s professional career started on Wall Street as a currency trader. Five years ago she founded fxtradersedge.com, a Forex Education company, to help traders save time and effort, make more money and achieve their full potential as Forex traders.
