The club would like to draw your attention to a non-club Toronto event aimed at high school girls and incoming university students, organized by a recent Wharton graduate.
The University of Pennsylvania's President's Engagement Prize winner Katlyn Grasso is coming to Toronto on July 21st with her organization GenHERation, a network she established to spark leadership among girls.
Some of you may have seen the article and video of Katlyn describing GenHERation in a recent Penn News Weekly newsletter.
GenHERation will be kicking off a 10-city North American tour in Toronto, bringing its Summer Leadership Series and Social Innovation Challenge to the MaRS Discovery District. The Series is a leadership workshop for high school girls and incoming university students, featuring female executives from a variety of industries, skill-building activities, and scholarships and prizes.
